what a treat to find a classic art deco style onyx statement ring in a not tiny size and in 14k!

art deco inspired with blossom elements on the shoulders that hint at a slightly later origin story.

the onyx is domed and has some simple facets that catch the light beautifully. the center of the stone features a white gold setting and a tiny natural diamond

the bezel setting is organic and imperfect, so this piece is more rustic than crisp

setting is ~13mm x ~11mm and rises ~6.5mm off the finger

base of the band is just shy of 2mm

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

the onyx is free from chips, cracks, or scratches, but it will show minor surface wear

center white gold setting is secure and doesn't wiggle in the onyx

diamond is free from damage

the bezel setting isn't perfectly squared around the stone, but it is snug and secure. the bezel is also slightly uneven where it meets the stone, but again, it's structurally sound. some minor voids throughout the walls of the setting that are original quirks and not holes/losses.

softening to the embossed floral blossoms on the shoulders on either side of the center stone

this is a very vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
